New Process for Getting Replacement ID Cards
Beginning this fall, students in need of ID cards will need to complete a request form in person at the Campus Safety Patrol office. This process was previously handled by the office of Campus Life.
The shift is due to increased student safety efforts and a university-wide effort to eliminate identity fraud.
Some students have complained about the hassle but Earl Woodman, Campus Safety Patrol Director, insists the results will benefit students. "We want to make sure the campus is an environment where all students are safe and ID card authentication is a big part of that process."
